Free Workshop Offered For Beginning Your Own Business
Are you considering starting your own business? If so,
you no doubt have questions about what it takes to be successful, finding
your customers, or how much funding you need.
You can learn answers to these and similar questions by attending a
Pre-Business Planning Workshop presented by the Greater Knoxville Chapter
of SCORE®, a volunteer organization of retired business executives
and a partner of the Small Business Administration.
The workshop will cover such topics as “What Is Your Experience in Business,”
“What Steps Have You Taken To Begin Your Business,” “What Research Do
You Need To Do,” Who Are Your Customers,” and “What Assets Do You Have
To Begin Your Business.”
Going into business? Thinking of a start-up? Here is your chance to
learn from a group of retired, semi-retired and working business men and
women dedicated to assist those thinking about starting a new business.
The seminar will be conducted by SCORE volunteer counselors with significant
business experience in companies small and large in various executive
capacities.
SCORE is a Small Business Administration partner dedicated to providing
free confidential business counseling to start-up and existing small businesses
and non-profit organizations. With more than 375 chapters nationally and
more than ten thousand volunteer counselors, SCORE members conducted more
than 315,000 counseling sessions in Fiscal Year 2006.
